Considering the number of photos that I have taken this year, this particular blog post will noticeably be lacking a single one. There are simply too many even to begin to sum up 2012 in photographs.
Suffice it to say, my wonderful surprise gift from the Photographer back in June has been the source of much joy. I have found a love of capturing moments on camera and the Photographer will be the first to tell you I have also discovered another outlet for my slight obsessive tendencies in the perfecting of my framing and technical ability.
It has been lovely to learn from my husband, absorbing his knowledge and skill in a way that makes me appreciate even more just how talented he is. I am blessed that he is such a natural and patient teacher, opening my eyes to the possibilities of a camera if you just learn how to use it well and develop an eye that notices the beauty of light.
